Issued at 17:09 Sunday 10 December 2017

Summary

Accumulating snow likely Monday and Monday night. An Alberta Clipper is forecast to sail across Northeastern Ontario Monday night. Snow is expected to arrive on Monday and continue Monday night into Tuesday as the clipper moves through. Latest indication suggest a total snowfall near 10 cm in many areas by the time the snow tapers off to scattered flurries on Tuesday. Snowfall amounts approaching 15 cm are possible in a few localities. However latest indications show that the 15 cm per 12 hour snowfall warning criterion will not be reached. Poor winter driving conditions are expected. Environment Canada will continue to monitor this situation and update statements accordingly. ### Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
