Summary

Storm surge warning Coastal flood warning due to waves issued jointly by Fisheries and Oceans Canada (Science) and the Meteorological Service of Canada - Quebec region on 2017-12-12 at 3:30 pm EST. An intense low pressure system from the Great Lakes will reach Eastern Quebec on Wednesday. As it approaches, easterly winds will reach up to 90 kilometres per hour beginning this evening. Despite the fact that we are not currently in a period of very high tidal range, very low pressure combined with strong to high winds will cause coastal flooding in the vicinity of the following locales beginning this evening.
