Summary

A low pressure system south of Cape Cod at issue time will track towards the Maritimes today. Snow associated with this low has already begun over western Nova Scotia and will spread eastward this morning. Snow is expected to change over to rain for much of the province tonight with a risk of freezing rain during the changeover. Generally 10 to 15 centimetres are now expected across much of Nova Scotia with 15 to 20 cm expected over northern portions where a snowfall warning is in effect.
